The filter system has a maximum operating pressure of 90 psi (6.2 bar), with a suggested work pressure range of 50-60 psi. The system can operate within a temperature range of 40-110°F/5-45°C and has a shelf life of 5 years. The flow rate varies from 5-15 GPM, depending on the feed water pressure.

Note:

1. If your water pressure is suspected to exceed 80 psi at any time, it is essential to install a pressure regulator before the filter housing to prevent the water pressure from exceeding the maximum rating. The pressure regulator should be set to 60 psi or less.

2. Ensure that the inlet/outlet thread parts are wrapped with enough seal tape, such as Teflon tape. For metal and stainless steel materials, a layer of joint compound or other glue could be used, followed by another layer of Teflon tape. This will help address almost all potential leaks.

3. Remember to remove the canisters from the caps, clean the O-ring surfaces, and re-lubricate them. The rubber O-ring provides the water-tight seal between the cap and the sump, so it is crucial that it is properly seated in the groove to prevent water leaks.

4. Use the supplied wrench and tighten the system firmly. You can also refer to YouTube videos on "whole house water filter" installation, which can be very helpful if it's your first time installing such a system.

5. Protect the filter housing from freezing.

6. When replacing the filters, run the water for 10-15 minutes. It is normal to see black carbon fines appear in the water during this flushing process, and the water should be discarded and not used.
