The Metpure (FI-GAC102IL-14FIP) 2" x 10" x 1/4" OD FIP Inline Water Filter is a high-performance filtration solution that is compatible with various filter brand models and systems. You can use this inline water filter cartridge in a reverse osmosis system as a post-carbon filter or as a single filter for refrigerators, icemakers, coffee makers, water dispensers, and other appliances and water filter inline connections. It is a universal and compatible replaceable part, and any manufacturers' names and part numbers are used for reference purposes only.

To avoid the danger of suffocation, keep the plastic wrapper away from babies and children. Do not use it in cribs, beds, carriages, or playpens. The plastic wrapper is not a toy, and you should discard it and any other packing materials immediately after removing the product.

This high-performance food-grade GAC filter is made with 100% virgin coconut shell granular activated carbon, featuring a high iodine adsorption capacity and being BPA-free. It ensures your drinking water is safe and healthy.

The universal 10 x 2 female NPT threaded 1/4 inline water filter is compatible with most refrigerator filter brands, including Samsung, GE, LG, Whirlpool, and Frigidaire.

The filter has a 2" x 10" size with 1/4" OD FIP female threaded ports, a temperature rating of 40°F - 100°F (4.5°C - 37.8°C), a maximum flow rate of 0.75 GPM (2.84 LPM), and a maximum pressure of 120 PSI. Its service life is 6-12 months or 2,500 gallons (9,500 L).

Installation is simple, as the inline carbon water filter comes with built-in 1/4" FIP female threaded ports on both ends for plastic or copper water lines using 1/4" lines. You just need to remove the tubes and thread fittings from the old filter and thread the fittings to the new replacement filter, then plug in the tubes.

For drinking water applications, flush the filter with at least 3 gallons of water prior to usage, or if it contains carbon, until the black carbon residue disappears. Do not use where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the filter.
